Pet Policy

At some properties we allow pets, while at others we do not. For properties where pets are permitted, we generally allow a maximum of 3 pets unless otherwise specified on the listing. To confirm if pets are allowed at a specific property, please review the property description at https://www.doorby.com/rentals.

If pets are allowed at your property, a refundable pet deposit and monthly pet rent will apply:

• The pet deposit is $500, plus $150 per additional pet.
• The pet rent is $25 per month, per pet.

For example, if you have 3 pets, the total pet deposit would be $800 ($500 + $150 x 2), and the monthly pet rent would be $75 ($25 x 3). These amounts are in addition to the standard security deposit and rent.

Applicants must provide up-to-date vaccination (shot) records for all cats and dogs as part of the screening process. Pets must remain current on all required vaccinations throughout tenancy.

All residents with dogs are required to maintain active renters insurance with liability coverage for the duration of the lease. Proof of insurance must be provided prior to move-in and maintained throughout tenancy.

The following dog breeds are not permitted:

• Pit Bull–type breeds (including American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, and Staffordshire Bull Terrier)
• Rottweiler
• Doberman Pinscher
• Boxer
• Presa Canario
• Cane Corso
• Wolf hybrids

Any dog that is a mix of the above breeds or has characteristics substantially similar to these breeds is also prohibited.

Any animal with a history of aggressive behavior, biting, or posing a threat to persons or property will not be approved, regardless of breed.
